Info on old Takara bicycle?

I have an old Takara bicycle frame I want to know more about. It was bought at a garage sale for $ 10.00. Bage The head was removed and the frame tubing sticker. The lyrics Takara is barely visible. The bottom bracket numbers are 365 473310, also There are a number on the back drop 4067.The direct G4 Tange tube is stamped on it. The frame is luged but has stamped dropouts and fork ends. The only thing in the frame is still a reality in Japan on the label bottm seat tube just above the bottom bracket. There is no model name on the top tube where most bike companies put them. If someone could tell me the name of the model, and what we componets this bike it would be helpful for me. I fix bikes for sale former garage as a hobby, I have moved twice since AQUARING this bike. I have all the pieces were some, but now that I've established I have orgenizing problems my stuff, yes I am a pack rat. Is there any information on the web about Takara bicycle?

Well, you do not mentioned the case of a road bike, BMX bike, etc. .. but I, too, having acquired a Takara (road bike) recently. There is much there – I've been looking for. But I do not see is that these were actually my Kuwahara since the mid 70 's to the mid / late '80' S. Kuwahara, while selling bicycles in his own name in Japan, Europw and Canada, do not use own name in the U.S., but instead … "Kuwahara Cycles Ltd. never produced a "Kuwahara brand" bike, which produced private label bicycles for more than 20 different companies, the most famous of which include: Schwinn, Takara, Puch, Concord, Apollo, Azuki. "Now, most people remember you BMX bikes, some are aware of the road and MTB bikes … they are nice, but may be realized that they have little market value reslae. Which is fine with me, because it's a good deal. If it is a road bike, which depends on the time but mine came with Suntour failures undervalued, Suntour bar end shifters, Dia-Compe stem, Dia-Compe centerpulls, and 27 "Araya aluminum rims" Sunshine "(Sanshin) hubs. All components well, and the bar end levers are worth 4 times what I paid for the bike last month entier.

Sales of BMX bikes are increasing faster than almost any other type of bike. BMX bikes can be seen on the streets, sidewalks and even in natural habitat, off-road. Even if you leave your house you've certainly seen such bikes on TV. Sure, you probably know what a BMX bike, but what you may not know is what exactly differentiates a BMX bike from other bikes. We'll tell how they are different.

Start with their origin. It's simple, really. The bike was more or less the same for many decades after it was invented, but the popularity of racing off-road bikes or motocross, during the '60s changed that. The children saw the benefits of racing around on their dirt bikes and taking them off dirt ramps. They wanted be like their heroes so kids imitated their bikes, which, when not made for such horseplay. It did not take long for manufacturers bikes to catch on and start manufacturing bikes made specifically for the rigors of racing and jumping off the road. Soon they were sanctioned motocross bicycle (BMX) throughout the country. BMX The market segment grew and grew and continues to grow today. And of course the majority of children (and adults) in these bikes is a career and probably never will not jump no more daring than a curb. Still however, BMX bikes are made to take a beating.

Now, to discuss the physical attributes of the BMX bike, which makes it different from other bikes. The particular characteristics can reduce the frame, wheels and tires brakes and gears.

The framework of BMX bikes are designed to be very light so it can be easy to use and very strong so it can withstand the stresses of riding and a career. The light weight of a BMX frame is also important because a lighter bike can save precious time in a close fought BMX race. Aluminum and chrome-molybdenum steel is the two materials most favored by BMX'ers. Regular bikes are usually made from cheap grades of steel likely to oxidation or even break when put under great stress.

Another distinguishing feature of BMX bikes are their wheels and tires. Most of the BMX bikes have 20 "wheels, of course, can also be purchased in other sizes. It is not the 12" size for young children who are learning to walk. These days kids are learning to ride a bike before learning to read! The next larger size is 16 "wheel. These bikes are used primarily by children ages 8 to 12. Once they enter adolescence, most children ride the 20 "bikes. This is the preferred size for many adults and professionals, too. There are BMX bikes with larger wheels or even sizes including, but not so popular.

The tires on BMX bikes are different from conventional road bikes. They are bumps that provide excellent traction on dirt roads and tracks. In fact, very similar to mountain bike tires, only smaller.

Speaking of mountain bikes, such rides often have up to 21 changes! Road bikes and beach cruisers are usually not many, but not to vary from 3 to 18 speeds. BMX bikes, however, have only one gear. They have a sprocket in front and one in the rear wheel. That's it, they use just one gear because they are made for total sprints and precise control for freestyle tricks.

Another feature that distinguishes the BMX bike of conventional bikes are their brakes. BMX bikes often have just a rear brake. Having a front increases the likelihood accidentally brake using only the front and cause an accident. In addition, the runners do not need the extra stopping power as they do not want to stop! A bicycle BMX tricks done to have a front brake, though.

BMX bikes also usually come with pads to protect the rider during accidents and shipwrecks, which can happen a lot during races. Most runners do not bother with pads, however, are too cool for that. If the bike has pills, usually in the top bar, handlebar clamp and handlebar crossbar.

BMX bikes are a booming business, and its popularity has increased in almost all market segments. You can often see BMX riders on televised competitions and commercials. BMX bikes are ridden by all sorts of people, from professional riders to five years just for fun, adults who never grew out of them, and everyone in between.

BMX bikes are available in a range of sizes to fit all types of riders and all ages. They also have many special features to suit a variety of uses. There are, of course, a wide range of prices, too. If you are considering buying a bike for you or someone else, your best source of information are the people to your store Bicycle local. There are also tons of reliable information online. The two main issues must be considered is how the bike will be used and how much is willing to spend. From there it's up to you.
